Five (PRETTY RANDOM) FACTS ABOUT ME:

1. I’ve taught CrossFit (Level 2 Trainer) and Olympic Weightlifting for 6 years, and used to compete in both sports!

2. I brew my own Kombucha and drink it everyday.

3. I am a lululemon ambassador.

4. My Instagram handle @kombucha.mami is an ode to Toronto and of course, @champagnepapi!

5. I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety since I was 18 and I’ve done a lot of work to get to a much better place now. :)

Nutrition is not just food.

Food is a celebration, it’s nostalgia, it’s joy, it’s comfort, it’s a security blanket, it’s companionship when we’re lonely, it’s a privilege, it’s control all rolled into one.

I learned this first hand and through working with hundreds of clients from all different walks of life.

My own relationship with food ebbed and flowed from fuelling for CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting competitions to stress eating while running a business to losing my appetite to Depression.

I was able to heal my digestion, skyrocket energy levels , fix my relationship with food using a science-based approach that borrows from nutrition & food science, neuroscience, psychology, and physiology.

I stopped being at war with my body and started to use nutrition to build my dream life from the inside out.
